A safe haven from domestic abuse, forced marriage and human trafficking.
When Raj finally escaped her abusive, domestic prison, she spent a lot of time in and out of women’s refuges.
A promised beacon of hope, the reality of these ‘safe havens’ was more like a living hell, where living conditions and safety were compromised all too often.
To cast shade on these horrifying women’s refuges, Raj vowed to create a safe and peaceful place for women to escape to and work on rebuilding their lives either independently or with their children.
Providing opportunities for women to experience unconditional love and life-transforming change, Grace House is run by former victims of domestic abuse & graduates of the Building From Broken Pieces Programme.
Here, on going mentorship, support and friendship will be in abundance, providing a true safe haven that’s a world away from our precious guests’ turmoil.
We seek to break the cycle of destruction by helping the most vulnerable find freedom, and restoration, which we are confident will have a positive effect on drastically reducing the chances of history repeating itself.
